On the instructions of the client, Telekurs Card Solutions accepts authorisation queries and checks these for integrity. Amount authorisation takes place either in the stand-in process or by the issuer himself. Processor Authorisation Amount authorisation in the stand-in process is undertaken according to the issuers limit conditions. These limits can be managed by the Maestro debit online card management solution. The authorisation (validation, PIN check, limit check) takes place in accordance with the acquirer data/information. Issuer Authorisation In addition to stand-In-authorisation, Telekurs Card Solutions offers OTIS (Online to Issuer). OTIS permits the specific amounts to be authorised directly by the issuer i.e. the issuer decides whether a transaction should be authorised or rejected on the basis of the current creditworthiness of the account holder.
